The purpose of this study was to determine the surface tension of the solution of the test item applying the ring method according to EU A.5 and OECD 115 guidelines. The surface tension of the test item in aqueous solution (ca. 100 mg / 100 ml) was found to be 67.0 mN/m. The density of the test solution was determined to be 0.998 g/mL. As this value is higher than 60 mN/m, the test item is not classified as surface active.
