Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Endpoint:
adsorption / desorption: screening
Data waiving:
study technically not feasible
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because the substance has a low octanol water partition coefficient and the adsorption potential of this substance is related to this parameter

Description of key information

Due to a low octanol water partition coefficient (log Pow 1.1, calculated based on measured water solubility of phosphorus based anaylsis and measured octanol solubility of neat active test item) this study does not need to be conducted.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Koc at 20 °C:
4.315

Additional information

There is no study available on adsorption desorption for the test item CAS 52585-16-7. In accordance with column 2 of Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 Annex VIII the testing is not required if the substance has a low octanol water partition coefficient (log Pow 1.1, calculated based on measured water solubility of phosphorus based anaylsis and measured octanol solubility of neat active test item). For the calculation of the PNECsoil via EPM method, a KOC value of 4.315 L/kg was used (Episuite).
