Based on flash point and boiling point the substance isohexadecyl 12 -[1(-oxooctadecyl)oxy]octadecanoate (CAS 97338-28-8) is a non flammable liquid. Flash point: 193.5 °C at 988 hPa (ASTM D93).

Based on experience in handling and use and the chemical structure pyrophoricity and flammability on contact with water are not to be expected.
