According to the REACH Regulation N.1907 -2006, Annex VII, Column 2: "The study does not need to be conducted if the substance is inorganic. If the test cannot be performed (e.g. the substance decomposes, has a high surface activity, reacts violently during the performance of the test or does not dissolve in water or in octanol, or it is not possible to obtain a sufficiently pure substance), a calculated value for log P as well as details of the calculation method shall be provided.
The study has not been performed because the test substance has a very low solubility in water and n-octanol, therefore a calculated value of LogKow obtained by EPISuite 4.1 ( (WSKOW v1.42) has been given.
