Description of key information

The median particle size L50 of the test item deduced from the particle size distributions was 26.0 µm.

The particle size L10 of the test item deduced from the particle size distributions was 6.3 µm.

The particle size L90 of the test item deduced from the particle size distributions was 77.9 µm.

Additional information

The purpose of this study was the determination of the particle size distribution by laser diffraction of the test item in GLP. The study was performed according to the European Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008 and under consideration of the following guidelines:

CIPAC MT 187: Particle Size Analysis by Laser Diffraction

ISO13320:2009: Particle Size Analysis - Laser Diffraction Methods

OECD Test Guideline 110: Particle Size Distribution

Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment, Chapter R.7a: Endpoint specific guidance, version 4.1, October 2015, European Chemicals Agency

The sample was tested as received. No further preliminary treatment such as drying or milling was performed.
