Additional information

Abiotic degradation of Pentaerythritol, mixed esters with linear and branched fatty acids is not a relevant pathway. Since the substance is not likely to be present in the atmosphere, indirect photodegradation in air is not to be expected. Abiotic hydrolysis is not relevant, since the substance is readily biodegradable and thus expected to be ultimately eliminated through biodegradation in natural waters.
