Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The rate of hydrolysis of the test substance was assessed according to EU Test Method C7. Sample solutions were tested at pH 4, pH 7 and pH 9 for a period of 120 hours. After 5 days at 50°C there was less than 10 % hydrolysis, equivalent to a half-life greater than 1 year at 25°C. The absence of relative percentage composition data prevented the calculation of definitive concentrations for the component of interest. Therefore, although monitored individually, the concentrations were with respect to the test material as a whole. The estimated half-life at 25°C of the phosphoric acid mono-ester content, the phosphoric acid diester content and the alkyl amine component of the test material was > 1 year.

No assessment of hydrolytic stability was performed for the phosphorodithiotic acid ester component of the test material by Method C7 of Commission Directive 92/69/EEC (which constitutes Annex V of Council Directive 67 /548/EEC). This was due to low solubility in aqueous media.

Phototransformation in air, water and soil has not been determiend, as they are not required endpoints at this level of notification.

A supporting study is included to demonstrate the EC 434-280-4 rapidly dissociates in water back to the starting materials.
