Description of key information

For formic Acid results of genotoxicity testing are reported in literature (BUA Stoffbericht No. 81).

As formic acid is the constituent relevant for C&L of the "Stabilizer for Cyanamid F1000" the reported data of formic acid were taken as read-across source.

The AMES-Test (reverse mutation in bacteria) and the Sister Chromatide Exchange test in V79 cells are did not show any adverse effect.
