Administrative data

First-aid measures

General information:Inhalation: Move the person to the fresh air. If not breathing give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult give oxygen.Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Rinse with plenty of water or shower.Eye contact: Rinse with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, especially below the eyelid.Ingestion: If swallowed, wash out mouth with plenty of water. In any case, seek medical advice.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguisher media: Water spray, powder, carbon dioxide or foam extinguishers are appropriate for surrounding fire and materials. Use water spray to cool nearby containers and structures exposed to fire.Under fire conditions the product emits toxic fumes of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and oxides of nitrogen. To extinguish should wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing to prevent breathing toxic fumes.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions to be taken: Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Avoid breathing dust or mist. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.Environmental protection: Avoid leaking into a public drainage and/or sewer.Clearance of spilled product: Sweep up the spilled product and avoid raising dust. Place it in a container for waste disposal. Ventilate the area and wash spill site after material pickup is completed.

Handling and storage

Handling: Connect the exhausters in the working area, if possible, or ventilate when handling the product. Use always safety goggles. Avoid dust inhalation. Protect respiratory tract.Storage: Keep in a well-closed container. Store protected from moisture and heat, in a cool, dry and well-ventilated area.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Stability and reactivity

Stability: The product is stable in normal conditions of use.Conditions to avoid: Susceptible to hydrolysis, reacting with water to form isopropanol and the pinacol ester of boronic acid. It reacts readily with atmospheric moisture upon exposure to air resulting in a decrease in purity.Thermal decomposition products: If heated until decomposition it emits toxic fumes of carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides and boron oxides.

Disposal considerations

Dispose of waste in authorized plant, in accordance with the applicable local and national regulations.Study the possibility of reuse.
