Additional information

The self-ignition of 2-(4-Amino-2-nitroanilino)ethanol has been determinated according to the EU Method A 16 and the GLP.

Using a linear increase in temperature of 0.5 °C/min up to about 400 °C, 2-(4-Amino-2-nitroanilino)ethanol showed no self-ignition reaction. At the end of measurement the test item was a black carbonized residual.

The self-ignition test is classified as acceptable, and satisfies the guideline requirements for the EU method A.16.
