- In accordance with Annex XI, section 2 and OECD guidance document (OECD 2000) on aquatic toxicity testing of difficult substances and mixtures, the study (OECD 201 - Toxicity to aquatic algae and cyanobacteria ) does not need to be conducted as the study is technically not feasible since Disodium oxide (n°CAS 1313-59-3) reacts on contact with water and quasi-instantaneously decomposed under aqueous conditions in the environment.
