Results retest: ignition: 243 °C, no ignition: 241 °C

Evaluation

lowest value from pretest

260 °C

lowest value for first main test

245 °C

lowest value for second main test

243 °C

lowest value for retest

243 °C

Lowest value of all main test/retest series: 243 °C.

Correction of the temperature according to the last DKD calibration (06/2014) of the temperature measurement chain (thermocouple + monitor) is already considered (value of -0.5 °C).

Concluding result

The auto-ignition temperature is 240 °C (according to the assessment criteria and definition in the Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008, test method A.15.

Conclusions:
An auto-ignition temperature of 240°C at 1015 hPa was determined in a reliable study conducted according to an appropriate test protocol, and in compliance with GLP.
