Executive summary:

Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) was assessed in accordance with VDI 2263 Part 1. The prepared sample was heated in a sealed glass ampoule at a heating rate of about 3 K/min. The sample temperature and the reference temperature (Al2O3) were recorded by computer system.

The heat of reaction recorded was -324 J/g (integration range 189 - 427 °C).
