Executive summary:

This procedure conforms to those outlined in OECD Guideline 105. Preliminary investigations suggested that the water solubility was very low and that the most appropriate method for the determination of water solubility was the adoption of the slow stir method detailed in OECD guideline 123.

The test substance was not detected in any of the water solubility samples; it was therefore concluded that the water solubility was below the limit of quantitation, 0.05 μg/mL of the analytical method. The pH of the samples was 5.35 to 6.29, which reflects the pH expected of double-distilled water.

The water solubility of the test item was regarded as <0.05 μg/mL at 20 ± 0.5°C.
