Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove victim from area of exposure. Keep victim at rest. If
symptoms of irritation or sensitisation occur, consult a
doctor.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Wash out with plenty of water with the eyelid held wide
open. Consult a doctor in event of any complaints.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash off affected skin with
plenty of water. Consult a doctor in event of any complaints
.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Rinse mouth and throat thoroughly with water. Consult a
doctor in event of any complaints.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Not combustible. Use agent most appropriate to extinguish
surrounding fire. Use waterspray to keep heat-exposed drums
cool.

Product arising from burning: Carbon oxides, nitrous vapours, hydrogen sulphide, sulfur
oxides,

ammonia

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Self-contained respiration protection.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Personal precautions: Use appropriate personal protection.
Avoid the formation of aerosols and dust from dry product.
Do not breathe spray.

Environmental precautions: Avoid dispersion to the
environment. If the substance has contaminated surface
water, inform the appropriate authorities.

Methods for cleaning up : Use appropriate personal
protection. Avoid any contact with the liquid. After
spillage avoid raising aerosols or dust

from dried preparation. Avoid splashing and high pressure

washing (formation of aerosols). Dike spilled liquid. Take
up spilled substance by mechanical means or with a vacuum
cleaner equipped with a high efficiency filter. Wash away
remainder with plenty of water. Ventilate areas.

Handling and storage

Handling: All working processes have to be designed in that way, that
an exposure via dermal contact or inhalation is as
unprobable as possible.

Use appropriate personal protection. Avoid the formation of
aerosols and dust from dry product. Do not breathe spray.
Ventilation required.

Use closed or at least sproud-proof devices only when
bottling, transferring or dosing the substace or during
sample collection.

Wear protective gloves [f.i. neoprene; but all 'rubber'
types will do] and protective clothing [ordinary coverall],
where applicable.

Ensure that enough washing occasions are available next to
the working area.

After dermal contact the affected sites should be washed
efficiently with [water].

Casual wear should be kept apart from working clothing.

Storage: Keep container tightly closed. Keep at temperature not
exceeding

10'C.

Packaging materials: Stainless steel tanktainer.

Avoid any residues in container.

Do not store together with food.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Broth (Capua - Delft): 22m3 tanktainers

Final preparation: PVC cans (30 L)
