Appearance:

On the basis of physical observation and using the sense of smell, [μ-[[3,3'-[azoxybis[(2 -hydroxy-p-phenylene)azo]]bis[4 -hydroxynaphthalene-2,7 -disulphonato]](8 -)]]dicopper, tetrasodium salt was observed to be a blue color liquid having amine like odor.

Freezing point:

Freezing point of chemical [μ-[[3,3'-[azoxybis[(2 -hydroxy-p-phenylene)azo]]bis[4 -hydroxynaphthalene-2,7 -disulphonato]](8 -)]]dicopper, tetrasodium salt was determine to be less than -3.02 Deg C.

Boiling Point:

The boiling point of [μ-[[3,3'-[azoxybis[(2 -hydroxy-p-phenylene)azo]]bis[4 -hydroxynaphthalene-2,7 -disulphonato]](8 -)]]dicopper, tetrasodium salt is determine to be 102°C.

Density:

The density of [μ-[[3,3'-[azoxybis[(2 -hydroxy-p-phenylene)azo]]bis[4 -hydroxynaphthalene-2,7 -disulphonato]](8 -)]]dicopper, tetrasodium salt was determine to be 1.2 gm/cm3at 25 °C.

The density of [μ-[[3,3'-[azoxybis[(2 -hydroxy-p-phenylene)azo]]bis[4 -hydroxynaphthalene-2,7 -disulphonato]](8 -)]]dicopper, tetrasodium salt was determine to be 1.2 gm/cm3at 25 °C.

Auto flammability:

[μ-[[3,3'-[azoxybis[(2 -hydroxy-p-phenylene)azo]]bis[4 -hydroxynaphthalene-2,7 -disulphonato]](8 -)]]dicopper, tetrasodium salt did not catch fire on being exposed to air at room temperature of 27°C pressure of 966 hPa. This indicates that [μ-[[3,3'-[azoxybis[(2 -hydroxy-p-phenylene)azo]]bis[4 -hydroxynaphthalene-2,7 -disulphonato]](8 -)]]dicopper, tetrasodium salt is not auto-flammable.
