Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
b) In case of skin contamination - wash the skin with ethyl alcohol and with large amount of tap water with soap and see a doctor.
c) In case of eye contact - call a doctor and rinse with a large amount of prefably running waterfor over ten minutes.
d) In case of intoxication via ingestion - immediate doctor's help is necessary. After ingestion provide a large quantity of water to drink, and if it possible a medical charcoal also, and to attempt to cause vomiting.
Fire-fighting measures
If the substance does not participate directly in the fire, quench the fire using means of methods applicable in case such a fire, prevent the fire from contacting the substance.
If the substance is not a subject of fire apply water (dispersed jet) from a safe distance, fire extinguishers powders, alcohol - resistant foams (e.g. CO2 extinguishers)
Accidental release measures
For emergency responders - using of gas tight protective uniforms with the self contained breathing protective equipment is recommended
Handling and storage
Collective storage exclusively with class 1 materials, compatibility groups C, D, E, G and S in accordance with ADR regulations. If the substance must be stored in wetted condition do not allow drying up. Do not store the substance in metal containers.
During the use apply the following precautions: do not eat or drink, avoid the contact with the substance, keep personal hygiene measure, work in well – ventilated rooms, do not use spark producing tools, keep the mixture away from open fire, high temperature and shock. Protect against the influence of weather conditions (direct sun exposure, precipitation, etc.). Use under 90º C.
Details regarding the storage of explosive materials are subject to the internals of the state.

Exposure controls / personal protection
It is required to apply individual protection measures during working with the substance. It is recommended to use protective gloves as skin protection, safety goggles as eye protection and breathing protection equipment.
Personal protection equipement
a) Eyes or Face protection: Eye glasses with side shields.
b) Skin protection: work clothes, protective gloves.
c) Respiratory tract protection: Purifying Respirator
Stability and reactivity
The substance is sensitive to mechanical, thermal and electric stimulation. Difficult to dissolve in water, easier to dissolve in alcohol, ether, benzene.
If affected by high temperature, shock, friction and other factors carrying energy, there may be an explosion.
Exposure to open fire, high temperature, and static electricity should be avoided. Shock, friction and other factors carrying energy should be avoided.
Disposal considerations
The remains of decomposed trinitroresorcinol may cause environmental hazard, and the combustion products constitute toxicological and environmental hazard (nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide).
Excessively violent and massive combustion may result in detonation.
All deliveries of recollected substance and packaging must be approved by the manufacturer at all times.
