TEST MEDIUM / WATER PARAMETERS
- Source of dilution water: the test water used was deionized tap water (CHRIST-Ministil ion exchange cartridge). The following salts were added to water per liter, according to the formulation of MARKING and DAWSON: NaHCO3 192 mg, CaSO4 x 2H2O 120 mg, MgSO4 120 mg, KCl 8 mg.

EFFECT PARAMETERS MEASURED
During the entire trial period, the fish were observed regularly and the behavior recorded. At the end of the experimental period, the fish were killed in 0.05 % MS 222 (methanesulfonate of the meta-amino-benzoic acid ethyl ester, Sandoz), dissected and examined macroscopically.
