Additional information

Tests for assessment of a possible toxicity of substances of the Diarylide Yellow Pigments category on soil micro-organisms are scientifically not justified. Taking into account all available data comprising aquatic toxicity (acute tests for fish and chronic tests for aquatic plants / algae and invertebrates), toxicity to sewage treatment plant microorganisms, sediment toxicity (chronic) and soil toxicity (earth worm, chronic), toxicity to soil micro-organisms is highly improbable as in none of the mentioned tests any ecotoxicity of the Diarylide Yellow Pigments was observed.
