Executive summary:

A test for determining the boiling point of the test item has been performed according to the EU Method A.2 (Boiling temperature) and OECD No. 103 guidelines.

Following a preliminary analysis, the AISI crucibles were employed to investigate in detail the various changes which occurred on heating to the sample. The test was then performed with an AISI crucible in a temperature range from 30 to 300 °C with a heating rate of 5 °C/min.

From the experimental data obtained, it can be concluded that the sample of d-phenothrin does not present a define boiling point or decomposition phenomena until 300 °C.
