Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Physical & Chemical properties

Endpoint summary

Administrative data

Description of key information

Physico-chemical properties were determined from experimental testing. Some endpoints were waived, based on chemical structure or other properties.

The substance is a dense solid at ambient temperature, with low melting and low volatility.

Properties involving contact with water (i.e. solubility, partition coefficient or surface tension) cannot be determined, due to rapid hydrolysis (with moisture present in air).

It is NOT classified for physical hazards, based on CLP criteria, except the precautionary EUH029 statement is proposed based on HCl release with hydrolysis.
