Description of key information

The test substance is a yellow powder with a relative density of 1.321 standard conditions (20 °C) and the particle size distribution is 0.142μm79.621μm. Itmelts at 201.1°C and the estimated boiling point under atmospheric pressure (1atm) is 587.73°C. It possesses no volatility (estimated vapor pressure =6.64E-11 Pa at 25°C). The test substance shows no self-ignition phenomenon before it reaches its melting point. It displays no flammability concern according to its structure and handling experience (not pyrophoric, not flammable in contact with water), it is not flammable by ignition for a maximum 2 minutes and does not possess explosive or oxidizing properties concerns. The test substance is rather hydrophilic (log Pow: 0.67) and highly soluble (estimated water solubility: 1037 mg/l at 25 °C). However, the test substance is hydrolytically unstable at pH 4, 7 and 9 (half-life less than 12 hours). In conclusion, according to its physico-chemical data, the test material does not possess any hazardousproperties and does not display bioaccumulation concern.
