The log Pow value for the component 1 of the test material is -2.36.
The log Pow value for the component 2 of the test material is < 0.35.

The estimated log Pow value of test material component 1 was estimated at -0.42 (KOWWIN v1.68, EPI Suite v4.11) for the neutral molecule. However, it is predominantly present as zwitterion in the environmentally relevant pH range of 5 to 9. Using the adapted calculation for zwitterions in KOWWIN v1.68, a log Pow of -2.36 was estimated.
The estimated log Pow value of test material component 2, was estimated as 0.35 (KOWWIN v1.68, EPI Suite v4.11) for the neutral molecule. However, it is predominantly present as twice positively charged species in the environmentally relevant pH range of 5 to 9. Thus, a lower log Pow value is to be expected in the pH range given above.
