Description of key information
Testing for toxicity to birds is not relevant based on exposure considerations and risk assessment (Rossi 2005). It is practically dust-free, only =< 0,5 % by mass of it can be potentially inhalable (EBRC 2009). In his risk assessment E. Rossi states that water filterated through FeCr-slag containing layer does not pose any threat to animals drinking it.
