Description of key information

The test item decomposed from approximately 220°C (493 K) at 101.85 kPa. As the test item decomposed, no value for boiling temperature could be determined by differential scanning calorimetry, using ASTM E537-86, designed to be compatible with Method 103 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 27 July 1995.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
220 °C

Additional information

A reliability rating of 1 was assigned to the key study, according to the criteria of Klimisch, 1997 as the study was conducted in accordance with recognised guidelines and GLP.

Supporting information is also available from an Arkema Safety data sheet. The result contained in this is given as > 200°C.

A reliability rating of 4 was assigned as the safety data sheet is secondary source information.
