Three studies are available that define the physical state and appearance of mmt (Merck handbook data, publication by US EPA and a publication by the University of Cincinnati). All three studies indicate that mmt is a slightly viscous liquid at 20 °C, with a yellow-orange color and slight herbaceous odor.
