Description of key information

No studies on skin sensitization with Ditallow tetramine are available. This substance exhibits a chemical structure similarity to N-C16-18-alkyl- (evennumbered C18 unsaturated)propane-1-3-diamine (CAS1219010-04-4)and thus belonging to the same category. The corrosive classification of N-C16-18-alkyl-(evennumbered) C18 unsaturated propane-1,3-diamine (CAS 1219010-04-4) ispublished at the dissemination dossier on ECHA home page.In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VII, an in vivo skin sensitisation study does not need to be conducted as the substance N-C16-18-alkyl-(evennumbered) C18 unsaturated propane-1,3-diamine (CAS 1219010-04-4) is classified as corrosive to the skin. The same applies for theDitallow tetramine.

Based on the ECHA dissemination Dossier of N-C16-18-alkyl- (evennumbered C18 unsaturated)propane-1-3-diamine (CAS1219010-04-4), the registration substance Ditallow tetramine is proposed to be not sensitising to skin.
