Additional information

The reported effect on algal growth rate (NOEC 10 mg ai/L) is an order of magnitude higher than the cut-off concentration leading to classification for short-term or long-term toxicity in readily biodegradable substances. The effect is therefore considered to be of low importance for the environment.

Conclusion on classification

The test item is readily biodegradable and L(E)C50 values for three trophic levels (fish, Daphnia and algae) were determined to be > 100 mg ai/L. As such, classification is not required under the terms of Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
