First-aid measures

Eye Contact
Wash eyes immediately with large amounts of water until no evidence of material remains.
Skin Contact
Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. If skin irritation or rash occurs, get medical advice/attention.
Inhalation
Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell.
Ingestion
No action required. Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell. Rinse mouth.
Protection of first-aiders
A rescuer should wear personal protective equipment, such as rubber gloves and air-tight goggles.

Fire-fighting measures

Flammability of the Product: May be combustible at high temperature.
Auto-Ignition Temperature: Not available.
Flash Points: Not available.
Combustion Products: Combustion products are carbon oxides (CO, CO2).
Fire Hazards in Presence of Various Substances: Slightly flammable in presence of heat.
Explosion Hazards in Presence of Various Substances
Risks of explosion of the product in presence of mechanical impact: Not available.
Risks of explosion of the product in presence of static discharge: Not available.
Fire Fighting Media
Use Dry chemicals, carbon dioxide, foam, or water spray.
Special Remarks on Fire Hazards
As with most organic solids, fire is possible at elevated temperatures
Special Remarks on Explosion Hazards
Fine dust dispersed in air in sufficient concentrations, and in the presence of an ignition source is a potential dust explosion hazard.
Specific fire fighting methods
Fire-extinguishing work is done from the windward and the suitable fire-extinguishing method according to the surrounding situation is used. Uninvolved persons should evacuate to a safe place. Special Protective Equipment: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing. Other fire fighting Considerations: Remove movable containers if safe to do so. Cool containers with flooding quantities of water until well after fire is out.

Accidental release measures

Use appropriate tools to put the spilled solid in a convenient waste disposal container. Sweep dust to collect it into an airtight container, taking care not to disperse it. Adhered or collected material should be promptly disposed of, in accordance with appropriate laws and regulations. Prevent product from entering drains
Personal Precautions
Wear an appropriate NIOSH/MSHA approved respirator, suitable gloves and eye/face protection. Keep people away from and upwind of spill/leak. Entry to non-involved personnel should be controlled around the leakage area by roping off, etc.

Handling and storage

Handling
Handle in accordance with good hygiene and safety procedures. Handling is performed in a well ventilated place. Wear suitable protective equipment. Prevent dispersion of dust. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling. Use a local exhaust if dust or aerosol will be generated.
Storage
Store in original closed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, and away from incompatible materials such as combustible, organic and oxidizable materials, away from heat and sources of ignition. Store all materials in properly labeled containers, and do not store in unlabellde containers. Since empty containers contain product residue, follow all hazard warnings and precautions even after container is emptied. Use apporpriate containment to avoid enviromental contamination.

Exposure controls / personal protection

General Precautions: Good industrial hygiene should be followed. Avoid breathing (heated) vapors. Avoid eye and skin contact.
Exposure Controls
Engineering Controls: Install a closed system or local exhaust as possible so that workers should not be exposed directly. Also install safety shower and eye bath.
Other Controls: None required.
Personal Protective Equipment
Respiratory: Government approved respirator. An appropriate NIOSH/MSHA approved respirator should be used if dust, mist or vapor is generated.
Respiratory protection must be used in accordance with the OSHA respirator standard (29 CFR1910.134).
Hand- Skin: Compatible chemical-resistant gloves, boots, clothing.
Eye: Safety glasses and face-shield, if the situation requires.

Stability and reactivity

Stability The product is stable under normal operational conditions.
Conditions of Instability Excess heat, incompatible materials, Oxygen at high temperatures.
Incompatible materials Avoid strong acids, strong bases, oxidizing agents
Reactivity No special reactivity has been reported.
Polymerization Will not occur.
Hazardous decomposition product Under normal conditions of storge and use, hazardous decomposition product should not be produced.
Possibility of hazardous reactions Under normal conditions of storage and use, hazardous reactions will not occur.

Disposal considerations
