The objective of this study was the determination of the flammability of solids of the test item according to
Recommendations on the TRANSPORT OF DANGEROUS GOODS: Manual of Tests and Criteria, 6thedition, New York and Geneva, 2015: Appendix 6, Class 4, Division 4.1: Readily Combustible Solids, Test N.1.
The test item only burnt over a distance of 70 mm applying a flame as ignition source for at least 2 minutes.
Thus, the test item has not to be classified as flammable solid according to Regulation (EC) no 1272/2008.
