Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Two reliable QSAR models were used to assess the aquatic toxicity of the registered substance to fish, aquatic invertebrates and algae: iSafeRat holistic approach v1.7 and ECOSAR v1.11 models. Both QSAR results were considered reliable as the registered substance falls within the applicability domain of the models. The results of each model are presented in the table below:

iSafeRat holistic approach v1.7

ECOSAR v1.11

E(L)C50 Key values - Geometric mean

Acute Daphnia

48h-EC50 = 33 mg/L (95% CL : 28 - 39 mg/L)

48h-LC50 = 17.942 mg/L

24.33 mg/L

Algae

72h-ErC50 = 26 mg/L (95% CL : 23 - 30 mg/L)

96h-EC50 = 6.727 mg/L

13.23 mg/L

Both QSAR models were used as key data points. Therefore, the E(L)C50 key values, used for chemical safety assessment, were determined as the geometric mean of predicted E(L)C50 values, corresponding to 24.33 mg/L for aquatic invertebrates and 13.23 mg/L for algae.

Finally, the registered substance is considered readily biodegradable and no inhibition effects of the activity of microorganisms was observed in the biodegradation study.
