Description of key information

The 24 and 48 hour EC50s of 2-methylpropane-2-thiol are 28 mg/L (95% confidence limits 17 - 65 mg/L) and 6.7 mg/L (95% confidence limits 3.8 - 9.8 mg/L) respectively.

Additional information

Thiebaud (2000) is a GLP-compliant, 48 hour freshwater, static test on Daphnia magna, following OECD guideline 202. The results have been based on regression analysis of nominal concentrations. The validity criteria were met and the study is considered reliable and suitable for use for this endpoint.
