Description of key information

These endpoints have been waived.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In accordance with section 2 of REACH Annex XI, the simulation testing on ultimate biotic degradation in surface water (required in section 9.2.1.2) is not required as the substance is inorganic and hence biotic degradation cannot occur. Thus measurement of this endpoint is not technically feasible.

In accordance with section 2 of REACH Annex XI, sediment simulation testing (required in section 9.2.1.4) is not required as the substance is inorganic and hence biotic degradation cannot occur. Thus measurement of this endpoint is not technically feasible.

In accordance with section 2 of REACH Annex XI, the identification of degradation products (required in section 9.2.3) does not need to be conducted as the substance is inorganic and hence neither biotic nor abiotic degradation will occur. There will therefore be no degradation products.
