Description of key information

In a preliminary study, the solubility of the test item in water was estimated as < 10 mg/L.
The test item was filled into a HPLC column. A flow rate of 25.11 mL/h was set. After discarding the first 360 ml, fractions were collected and measured. Seven samples at the flow rate 25 ml/h were measured by ICP-MS analysis. Flow rate was decreased to 12.51 mL/h and another seven fractions were collected and measured.
No differences above 30% in the concentrations of the solutions could be determined between the sample dates of the different flow rates, supporting the independency of solubility and flow rate.
At the plateau, the concentration of Neodymium carbonate in water had reached: 3.65 ± 0.35 mg/L at 20.3 – 21.2 °C (mean value of all fourteen fractions).

Key value for chemical safety assessment
