Description of key information

Dissocation – and hydrolysis products are either readily biodegradable (so that simulation testing is not required according to REACH) or - in one case - obviously poorly biodegradable (so that confirmation of this property is not scientifically justified).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The only dissocation – or hydrolysis product of Basazol Yellow 8511-MS which is not readily biodegradable is the aromatic diazo core with two carboxylic groups. It is obviously poorly biodegradable and confirmation of this property in a furhter study is not scientifically justified.
