Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flammability:
non flammable

Additional information

A preliminary test was performed by means of placing the test substance in a mold of 250 mm length, and directing an ignition source at the pile at one end. The test substance must ignite and the pile must burn over a distance of 200 mm in 4 minutes in order to trigger the main test. In the case of Reactive Red FC 73270, the substance could not be ignited with a flame, therefore the main test was unnecessary.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The test substance could no be ignited hence the main test was unnecessary and the substance can be considered as non-flammable.
