The relative density (compared to water at 4°C) was: DR4 = 1.57

Conclusions:
Under the study conditions, the relative density of the substance was determined to be 1.57 at 21.5°C.
Executive summary:

A study was conducted to determine the relative density of the read across substance Reaktiv Scharlach F97 -0319 according to EU Method A.3, in compliance with GLP. The air comparison pycnometer (for solids) was used in this experiment. The volume of a substance is measured in air or in an inert gas in a cylinder of variable calibrated volume. For the calculation of density, one mass measurement is taken after concluding the volume measurement. Two test series with different weights were carried out in air. Under the study conditions, the relative density of the substance was determined to be 1.57 at 21.5°C (Hoffmann, 1999).

Description of key information

The relative density was determined according to EU Method A.3 (Hoffman, 1999).

Key value for chemical safety assessment
