Partition coefficient
- Type:
- log Pow
- Partition coefficient:
- -2.5
- Temp.:
- 23 °C
- pH:
- >= 7.6 - <= 8.2
- Details on results:
- A stock solution of the test substance in n-octanol saturated water was prepared. To 5 ml, 10 ml and 20 ml of the stock solution 10 ml of water saturated n-octanol were added. The two-phase system was shaken vigorously at room temperature (23 °C) for one hour. Subsequently the phases were separated by centrifugation for 20 min at 14500 rpm and the test substance concentration in each phase was determined by UV/VIS spectroscopy.
Stock solution: 763 mg/l
