The substance SCARLET RN 1165 is a powder with a rate of 6.38 mass-% greater than 100 μm. The particle size distribution further has been determined to be 4 7. 0 % < 10 μm. 50 mass-% of the substance were smaller than 12 μm (MMD). The maximum of mass frequency was a about 2.5 μm.

The density of the testing material was determined with a Helium-density-measuring apparatus.

The multiple determination resulted in the value 1.734 ± 0.007 g/cm3.

Conclusions:
The particle size distribution has been determined to be 4 7. 0 % < 10 μm and 6.38 % > 100 μm (lower limit of determination 0.36 μm, upper limit 100 μm).
Particle density: 1. 734 g/cm3 .
Executive summary:

The determination of the particle size distribution using the applied methods was limited to the range 0.36* μm - < 63 μm (multistage impactor), 63 μm - < 100 μm, and100 μm (sieving).
