Description of key information

Waived: Due to its expected rapid decomposition to its Sn(II) and ethylhexanoate components upon introduction to water or organisms, the long-term stability in carrier solvents is not regarded as important for validation or interpretation of study results.

Additional information

In accordance with Column 2 of REACh Annex IX, the study does not need to be conducted if the substance is inorganic, or if stability of the substance is not considered to be critical. This substance is an organo-metal salt, which is known to be unstable in water and water-bearing solvents and environments. Due to its expected rapid decomposition to its Sn(II) and ethylhexanoate components upon introduction to water or organisms, the long-term stability in carrier solvents is not regarded as important for validation or interpretation of study results.
