Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Henry's law constant (H) (in Pa m³/mol):
0
at the temperature of:
12 °C

Additional information

Volatilisation from water is not relevant for the parent substance due to its rapid hydrolysis in contact with water.

For the silanol hydrolysis product, the predicted water solubility limit cannot be validated accurately due to condensation phenomena. The HLC can be estimated using the established Bond method from HENRYWIN v3.20 within the EPI Suite v4.11. This method derives the Henry's Law Constant directly from the structure and has been validated for this structural type.

The calculated HLC value for the silanol hydrolysis product at environmental temperature (12°C) is very low, 1.2E-10 Pa m3mol-1.
