Description of key information

L-isoleucine does not contain chemical groups that are associated with oxidising properties as described in ECHA's Guidance document R7.

As a consequence L-isoleucine can reasonably be assumed to not exert oxidising properties.

Additional information

According to ECHA's guidance on information requirements section R7.1.13, testing does not need to be conducted for organic substances if the substance contains oxygen, fluorine or chlorine and these elements are chemically bonded only to carbon. Furthermore, L-isoleucine does not contain any of the chemical groups associated with oxidising properties as listed in table R.7.1-29. As a consequence, testing is deemed not required.
