According to ECHA Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment chapter R.7a: Endpoint specific guidance (Version 6.0; July 2017), the primary value for ease of ignition in liquids is the flash point. The substance has been shown to have no flashpoint below 300 °C and is non-flammable when compared to CLP classification criteria. Since the test material does not ignite in contact with air or water, and the tested sample did not contain impurities with a lower boiling point than the main component, no further investigation of flammability is required.

The low melting point test material has been determined to have no flashpoint below 300 °C and, in accordance with CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, the substance is not classified as flammable.
