Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

The PBT assessment for this category was conducted by evaluating the individual constituents reported by the registrants. The table presented below lists the constituents and their evaluation for each of the PBT criteria. For some constituents, experimental data is available (benzene, toluene, cyclohexane, xylene, hexane) for each of the screening criteria. However, for the remaining constituents either the ECHA database was searched for registration dossiers containing the required information to perform the PBT assessment or QSARs (EPIWEB 4.1) were used to arrive at the conclusions presented.

The information contained in the above table indicates that constituents in the category streams do not fulfil the criteria for persistence or bioaccumulation. However, streams containing benzene, hexane and / or toluene do fulfil the human health toxicity criterion (T) in the context of the PBT evaluation.

The overall summary is that the constituents of the streams in the category are not PBT or vPvB.
