non flammable

Additional information

Method A.10, as reported in Dir. 92/69/EEC (O.J. L383A).

Justification for classification or non-classification

As reported in the CLP Regulation (EC 1272/2008), powdered substances shall be classified as readily combustible solids when the time of burning of one or more of the test runs, performed in accordance with the test method A.10 is less than 45 seconds or the rate of burning is more than 2.2 mm/s.

In the key study, the result was negative; in supporting studies, local burning or glowing without spread was reported. Accordingly, the substance is not classified for this hazard.
