Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

For this endpoint one test is available. In this acute immobilization test with Daphnia magna (STRAUS), the effects of the limit concentration of 100 mg/L of the test item were determined according to OECD 202 (2004).

The study was conducted under static conditions over a period of 48 hours in a closed system (sealed glass flasks) without headspace. The limit concentration of 100 mg/L prepared was visually clear throughout the exposure period.

Twenty daphnids (divided into 4 replicates with 5 daphnids each) were exposed to the limit concentration and the control.

The validity criteria of the test guideline were fulfilled.

The EC10, EC50 and EC100 values (based on the nominal concentration of the test item) were all greater than 100 mg/L both after 24 and 48 hours. As key value the lowest concentration from the range was selected: 100 mg/L.
