Preliminary test: Thermal Stability

The test item in a closed glass crucible showed an exothermic effect in the temperature range of 180230 °C.

Main test: Dynamic method

The vapour pressure was measured in the temperature range of 31.6 to 86.5 °C.

No. Temperature (°C) Vapour pressure (hPa) Remark
1 31.6 54.8 measured up
2 38.2 74.8 measured up

The Antoine constants are:

A = 10.0077

B = -1909.21

C = 273.15

Conclusions:
The vapour pressure of the test item is 31.26 hPa at 20 °C.
Executive summary:

The vapour pressure of the test item was determined according to OECD 104, dynamic method, vapour liquid equilibrium. First a thermal stability test was performed by differential scanning calorimetry. In the main test, 9 measurements were performed. Vapour pressures are calculated by interpolation and extrapolation of the measured vapour pressure curve for the temperatures 20, 25 and 50 °C, according to Regulation EC No. 440/2008 Method A.4. Vapour Pressure.

The vapour pressure is 31.26 hPa at 20 °C, 40.19 hPa at 25 °C and 125.77 hPa at 50 °C.

Description of key information

The vapour pressure of the test item is 31.26 hPa at 20 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
31.26 hPa
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

For this endpoint, one study is available in which the vapour pressure was calculated by interpolation and extrapolation of the measured vapour pressure curve for the temperatures 20, 25 and 50 °C, according to Regulation EC No. 440/2008 Method A.4. Vapour Pressure.

The vapour pressure is 31.26 hPa at 20 °C, 40.19 hPa at 25 °C and 125.77 hPa at 50 °C.
