Key result
Auto-ignition temperature:
442 °C
Remarks on result:
other: The lowest auto-ignition temperature observed.

In the preliminary test, ignition was observed at 471 °C.

In the main test the lowest temperatures of ignition observed were 442 °C, 443 °C and 448 °C. Based on the results, the lowest auto-ignition temperature is 442 °C. In accordance with regulation EC No. 440/2008 and with DIN 51794, the auto-ignition temperature is rounded down to the nearest multiple of 5°C, thus leading to an auto-ignition temperature of 440°C.

Conclusions:
The lowest auto-ignition temperature of the test item is 440 °C (test result rounded down to the nearest multiple of 5).
Executive summary:

The auto-ignition temperature of the test item was measured according to the Regulation EC No. 440/2008 Method A.15. and DIN 51794 (2003). The test item was found to have an auto-ignition temperature of 440 °C (test result 442°C, rounded down to the nearest multiple of 5).

Description of key information

The lowest auto-ignition temperature of the test item is 440 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
