Any other information on results incl. tables

The test item showed no reaction when a flame was applied as ignition source at ambient temperature. The product melted.

The test item showed a very brief inflammation of the gases caused by decomposition of the test item when a hot platinum wire was applied as ignition source at ambient temperature. The product melted.

Due to the fact that the pile could not be ignited with a flame, the main test was not necessary.

The combustion behaviour of the product at ambient temperature is characterized by the combustion number BZ 1 (no ignition).

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
non flammable
Remarks:
Migrated information
Conclusions:
The test item is not a highly flammable solid in the sense of the European Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, Method A.10.
The test item has a burning number of BZ 1 according to VDI 2263, sheet 1.
Executive summary:

Flammability was tested in a preliminary test according to EU Method A.10 and VDI guideline 2263. The test substance was rated with BZ (Brennzahl 1) and is therefore not a highly flammable solid.
