Description of key information

A no-observed effect loading rate of 100 mg/L was identified in an acute toxicity test in Pimephales promelas.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

One short-term toxicity to fish study is available: a 96-hour study in the freshwater species Pimephales promelas (fathead minnow). The test was conducted as a limit test, using a single WAF loading rate of 100 mg test substance per litre of test medium. All fish survived and no abnormal behaviours were observed. The no-observed effect loading rate and median lethal loading rate of the test substance were therefore concluded to be 100 mg/L and >100 mg/L respectively.
